- is open to all schools in the CIS and the Canadian College system
- Each competitor must be enrolled in a minimum of 3 classes - regardless of credit value - in the term of the competition. Students currently in a faculty appointed work term, graduate students, teacher's college students, etc. are also eligible.
- a fully completed team list must be received at the PCA office on or before Friday November 1, 2002 in order for a team tyo be eligible and registered.
- Forms may be faxed in (519) 434-9531 but an original copy, signed and stamped by the office of the registrar or equivalent official status verifying agent at the university or college MUST be on file with your team registration.
Note: every school has slightly different procedures for verifying student status. Please get your team list in as soon as possible to avoid problems of time or ineligibility.

- This division is designed for "club" or All-Star teams and/or that are not necessarily directly associated with an academic institution.
- Teams entering the OPEN Division, must not include ANY members currently enrolled in high school. The minimum age is 18 yrs as of the date of the competition and there is no maximum age limit. Team members may be students of a college or university but may NOT be cheering at/for that institution.
- Open Division teams are required to submit a name list of competitors with their respective ages. If a question of age/verification arises, the individual(s) will be required to produce photo/age ID.
